Huawei sub-brand Honor has launched the Honor 7S for the Indian markets at a price of 6,999. This is going to be exclusively sold on Flipkart from 14 September. It was launched in Pakistan during the month of May. It is a latest budget-centric smartphone.

- Honor 7S has a touchscreen display of 5.45-inch 720 x 1440 18:9
- This device is powered by a MediaTek MT6739 chipset, which has a 1.5 GHz octa-core Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8100 GPU.
- This model consists of 2 GB of RAM along with 16 GB of internal storage.
- Storage is expandable via a dedicated microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
- In the camera front, the Honor 7S sports a single 13-megapixel rear camera sensor.
- For the front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie snapper with f/2.2 aperture and screen flash, which can be adjusted in 7 levels.
- It is also equipped with face to unlock capabilities.
- Dimensions of a smartphone to be noted: 146.5×70.9×8.3 mm and weight is 142 grams.
- The phone has colour options of Blue, Black, and Gold.
As far as phone’s system is concerned, Honor 7S runs on EMUI 8.0, based Android Oreo OS. It has a battery backup of 3020mAh. There are various connectivity options such as Bluetooth 4.2 + BLE, 802.11 b/g/n, 2.4G, support Wi-Fi direct, Micro USB port for charging and 3.5mm audio jack.
It is to be noted that the launch of Honor 7S comes at a time when Xiaomi plans to launch its Redmi 6 series in India.
