On Tuesday, a new smartphone, Realme 2 was launched at an event in New Delhi. Earlier it was launched as an Oppo sub-brand. However, recently it has got its own unique brand image in the Indian market. Unlike Realme 1, this model has various features such as face unlock, 4230mAh battery, dual 4G VoLTE support. Also, it has 4GB of RAM.
However, in Realme 2, RAM capacity is capped at 4GB compared to 6GB of the previous version. But it surely has a newly added feature of a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. Further, let’s look at the pricing and availability details as well as the specifications of this new model.
Realme 2 Price in India
The smartphone is available in two variants 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB storage with 64GB storage, priced at Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990 respectively. The colour options in this model are Diamond Black and Diamond Red colour. Diamond Blue option will get added to the list from October. From the price point of view, Realme 2 is competing the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 and Xiaomi Mi A2.
Realme 2 launch offer includes an Rs. 750 discount on HDFC Bank credit and debit card purchases. Reliance Jio is offering Rs 4,200 benefits and 120GB data for its customers on purchase of this handset.
