In order to change your date of birth or age on Discord, you require submitting a request form to the platform. In the form, you have to make entries such as your date of birth and other mandatory fields and also attach a photo of yourself holding your ID (optional). You must consider that Discord might not change your age in case you fail to provide all the necessary details with required evidence to prove that you are above 18 years of age. Step#1: Submit a request to Discord
The first step towards changing your age on Discord is to submit a request in this regard to Discord. It can be done by navigating to the “Submit a request” form or by clicking on the following link: https://support.discord.com/hc/en-us/requests/new.
As you landed on the form, you will get to see a dropdown box saying, “What can we help you with?” From the available options, find and select “Trust & Safety”. This option addresses the account/bot appeals, the updating of your age, and policy questions.
Having selected the “Trust & Safety” option you are required to enter your email address (the one which is linked to your Discord account) in the “Your email address” field.
Now click on the “How can we help?” dropdown box and select the “Appeals, age update, other questions” option.
Step#2: Fill in your date of birth
Once you have selected the “Appeals, age update, other questions” option, scroll down the dropdown box containing various options like; “Appeal an action taken on my account or bot”, “Update my age information”, “I’m the parent or guardian of a user”, and “Ask a policy question”.
As you want to change your age on Discord, select the “Update my age information” option.
Thereafter enter your actual date of birth (MM/DD/YY format) in the provided field called “Date of Birth” field. Say for example, if your birthday is on 20th December 2000 then enter the date as “12/20/2000”.

Step#3: Attach a photo of yourself holding your ID (optional)
Once you are done with the above step, you need to scroll down the form again to find “Description” field. Here on the “Description” field, you can give the details of the issue which you are facing on Discord.
As in your case it’s the change of your age, you are suppose to make clear that you have a wrongly entered date of birth. You can consider an example for adding a description in this field, “Hi, My name is X and my real date of birth is 12/20/2000, which by mistake is entered as 2002. After that, clicka photo of yourself holding your photo ID along with a piece of paper which displays your Discord tag. (It is not a mandatory step, but it is expected by Discord so as to verify your age).
