How to Delete Recently Deleted photos on iPhone?
Removing unnecessary photos or videos is quiet easy. You can either let them get deleted automatically (iPhone automatically removes them in 30 days) or remove them manually by following the steps mentioned below.
Deleting a single photo/video
To delete a single photo or video from recently deleted section of your iPhone, all you have to do is:
- Go to Photos > Tap on Albums and scroll down to Recently Deleted. (You might require a face ID or passcode to access this.)
- Tap the photo you want to delete and select delete option on the left bottom corner.
- A popup will appear asking you to Delete Photo or cancel. Just tap on Delete Photo to remove it permanently.
- That’s it! It’s gone!
Deleting Multiple photos/videos
Removing multiple photos from recently deleted section is an easy task. Just follow the below mentioned steps.
- Go to Photos > Tap on Albums and scroll down to Recently Deleted. (You might require a face ID or passcode to access this.)
- Tap the select button on right top corner.
- Now you will see Delete All on the bottom left corner of your iPhone’s screen.
- Just tap Delete All and confirm Delete (n) items to remove the photos/videos permanently.
Recovering photos/videos from Recently Deleted
In case you have changed your mind and want to recover those photographs you have recently deleted on your iPhone, you can easily recover them from the recently deleted section. Below is how to do that.
Recover a single photo/video
To recover a single photo or video from recently deleted section of your iPhone, all you have to do is:
- Go to Photos > Tap on Albums and scroll down to Recently Deleted. (You might require a face ID or passcode to access this.)
- Tap the photo you want to recover and select recover option on the right bottom corner.
- A popup will appear asking you to Recover Photo or cancel. Just tap on Recover Photo to recover it.
- That’s it! The photo will be sent back to the library.
Recovering Multiple photos/videos
Recovering multiple photos from recently deleted section is an easy task. Just follow the below mentioned steps.
- Go to Photos > Tap on Albums and scroll down to Recently Deleted. (You might require a face ID or passcode to access this.)
- Tap the select button on right top corner.
- Now you will see Recover All on the bottom right corner of your iPhone’s screen.
- Just tap Recover All and confirm Delete (n) items to recover the photos/videos.
