If you forgot your Apple ID password and want to reset it and regain access, here is the way!
Use these steps to reset your password from your own apple device like iPhone, iPad, iPod touch or Apple watch with watchOS 8 or later
I) Go to settings II) Tap on your name and then password and security. III) Now select Change Password.
IV) If you are signed into iCloud and have a passcode enabled, you will be prompted to enter the passcode for your device. v) Follow the steps shown on your device’s screen to update your password.
You can also change the password on your Mac with macOS Catalina or later
I) Choose the Apple menu then select system preference, then click apple ID. II) click Password & Security if you are asked to enter your id password, click Forgot apple ID or password and follow the instruction III) Click change password, then enter the new password you use to unlock your Mac.
You can also use someone’s device to reset your password with these steps
I) download the apple support app II) tap on password & security III) select reset apple ID password.
IV) Tap get started and then tap A different Apple ID V) Enter the apple ID that you want to reset the password for. VI) tap next, then follow the steps on your screen until your password is changes
